Meet Jerry
Jerry St. Louis, LICSW, CST
Psychotherapist, sex therapist, educator, researcher, and co-host
Founder and CEO of Of Colors Healing, LLC, a psychotherapy practice in Washington, D.C., and a doctoral candidate at The George Washington University.
Jerry St. Louis is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Therapist, educator, and unapologetic advocate for sexual liberation, mental health, and LGBTQ+ communities. A proud Black queer man of Haitian descent, Jerry brings a refreshing combination of clinical expertise, cultural awareness, humor, and authenticity to conversations about sex, relationships, identity, and the experiences we are often taught to keep hidden. His philosophy is simple: healing begins when we give ourselves permission to be honest about who we are, what we desire, and what we need, without shame or apology.
As the Founder and CEO of Of Colors Healing, LLC, a Washington, D.C.-based psychotherapy practice, Jerry specializes in sex therapy, addiction, intimacy, kink and fetish, relationship dynamics, and the intersections of sexuality and substance use. With more than a decade of experience in mental health, his work centers individuals and communities whose identities, relationships, and sexual experiences have historically been misunderstood, stigmatized, or excluded from traditional therapeutic spaces. He believes therapy should be a place where people feel seen, heard, challenged, and supported, without having to censor the parts of themselves they fear others may judge.
Beyond the therapy room, Jerry is an educator, speaker, and doctoral candidate at The George Washington University, where he is pursuing a Doctor of Education in Special Education and Disabilities. His doctoral research explores the sexual education needs and experiences of LGBTQ+ individuals with disabilities, amplifying voices too often excluded from conversations about sexuality, access, and inclusion. Through his research, professional training, and community advocacy, Jerry challenges the idea that sexual health education should be limited by identity, ability, or society’s expectations of what is considered acceptable.
As co-host of The Queer and Kinky Couch, Jerry brings his clinical knowledge, personal perspective, and willingness to ask the questions that others might only whisper about. Whether discussing hookups, relationships, kink, sexual shame, addiction, or the complicated journey toward self-acceptance, he believes meaningful conversations should be informative, honest, entertaining, and occasionally a little uncomfortable. For Jerry, laughter and vulnerability can coexist, and talking about sex should never require leaving our humanity at the door.
At the heart of his work is a commitment to helping people move beyond shame, challenge the narratives they have inherited, and define pleasure, intimacy, healing, and connection on their own terms.
Your sexuality is not something to apologize for, your story deserves to be heard, and liberation begins when you stop allowing shame to speak for you.
